The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I generally enjoy a darker roast, and they guided me toward the Colombia FNC Huila ($150 NT). This cup of joe has a wonderfully smooth texture and low acidity, with notes of licorice and black cocoa. Sip by sip in the quiet atmosphere of the shop, Peloso gave me the perfect beginning to my afternoon work session.

Well, I'm sure you're familiar with coffee, but did you know there is an incredible and booming coffee culture all across Taipei? You can throw a stone around the city and hit some of the finest in single-origin coffee. Most cafes are also very laptop-friendly if you're looking to get a little bit of extra work done.
